November Student Feature: William Lin

William Lin is a Math/Computer Science double major freshman undergraduate. William is an outstanding undergraduate whose intended research interest is in Artificial Intelegece and Complex Systems. He competed in the United States of America Math Olympiad in 2021 and strives to become a mathematician. William is enrolled in MA 481 under the guidance of Dr. Victor Lie. He has stood out in his creativity and thinking and his acadmic accomplishments are exceptional. In a past research project, William applied self-attention mechanisms to graph neural networks to predict the trajectory of chimney swift flocks. Overall, William has stood out as an extrodinary undergraduate student who has great potential!
